Fritz Gautschi, Director

Mr. Gautschi is a former ALSTOM, Inc. President and CEO and has 35 years of experience in management and international business operations, culminated in his role as President & CEO of ALSTOM USA where he oversaw an organization with $3.5 billion in sales. Prior to joining ALSTOM, Mr. Gautschi served as executive vice president at ABB USA Power Generation where he was responsible for a substantial profitability improvement in just three years.  Prior to that, Mr. Gautschi served as president of ABB’s worldwide Gas Turbine & Combined Cycle Power Plant Business. Mr. Gautschi is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, has pursued postgraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University, and has completed the Senior Management Program at Harvard University.


Kevin Moonan, Director

Mr. Moonan brings to the board three decades of technology and business experience with extensive expertise in engineering, information technology, business, and sales and marketing. He spent 34 years with IBM, beginning as a systems engineer prior to joining the U.S. sales team. He has served in a variety of executive positions, including Networking Systems director for the IBM U.S. marketing and services organization. After spending four years as general manager for the Utility & Energy Services Industry for North America, Mr. Moonan was named vice president of sales and marketing operations for all the IBM Global Industries, a $74 billion operation. He was a member of the IBM Senior Management Group and on the board of IBM Credit Corporation. Mr. Moonan also spent time in Japan serving as the group director of business plans for IBM's Asia/Pacific Group and in London as assistant general manager of marketing for Networking Systems.


Raj Swaminathan, Director

Mr. Swaminathan is currently Senior Finance Director at CMS Enterprises. He brings to Enporion over a decade of finance experience primarily in the energy industry. Mr. Swaminathan's expertise includes energy project development, financing, acquisitions and divestitures in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. His work experience spans projects across the energy industry including gas-fired cogeneration, microturbines, electric and gas distribution, oil and gas exploration and pipelines. He also currently serves on the boards of CMS controlled utilities in Brazil and Venezuela. Mr. Swaminathan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bombay University, and holds an MBA from Virginia Tech. He also holds a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.


Jim Wood, Director

Mr. Wood is President of Babcock Power Company and brings to Enporion more than 35 years of experience in energy business operations and management. Previously, as President and COO of Babcock & Wilcox Company, he led a $1.5 billion global power and environmental business that provides engineering and fabrication services to the utility, oil and gas industries, and the U.S. Government. Mr. Wood successfully repositioned the company in the global after-market service business and initiated an e-commerce business segment, the first such initiative in the industry. Under his guidance the company made key acquisitions and divestitures and acquired new technologies related to nano-materials. His international work experience includes assignments in Europe, South America and Asia. Mr. Wood is a graduate of Clarkson University, where he now serves as a trustee, and holds an MBA from Kent State University. He is an ASME Fellow and a trustee of the ASME Foundation, and has served on advisory boards to the Secretary of Energy and Vice President of the United States.


Joseph Zelechoski, Director

Mr. Zelechoski is Director of Procurement for PPL Corporation and has 28 years of diverse energy industry and supply chain experience. He is responsible for PPL's supply chain, including strategic sourcing for material/ equipment purchasing, contract negotiations for services and warehouse operations that cover storage, job-order filling, inventory management and delivery services. Mr. Zelechoski is currently leading a two-year strategic sourcing initiative that is expected to produce annual savings of $40 million from PPL's supply chain. During 2000, Mr. Zelechoski worked with a number of energy companies to develop and test a business plan to create Enporion, an e-marketplace to serve the electric and gas energy industries. He then served as the interim President and CEO of Enporion from its founding to July 2001. Mr. Zelechoski received both a BS Degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Lehigh University.
