What is Bid Manager eRFx?
Enporion (a GEP Company) Bid Manager is an online website for buyers and suppliers to exchange bid documents and responses. After creating your RFP, RFQ or RFI, you can upload electronic files to the Bid Manager website and invite suppliers to access the bid package. Bidders can upload responses/proposals online as well. It is intended to replace traditional methods such as postal mail, facsimile or electronic mail for distributing your RFPs, RFQs, or RFIs. Bid Manager also provides a one-click Auction setup, for competitive, real-time reverse auction creation and execution.
Who can use Bid Manager eRFx?
Anyone with access to the Internet may utilize Bid Manager. Anyone who does not have access to the Internet may utilize Enporion (a GEP Company)’s Surrogate Bidding Services free of charge.
What is the benefit of using Bid Manager instead of emailing, faxing, or mailing my RFP?
There are many reasons to use Bid Manager:
* Any file size or type can be uploaded to the website, therefore no more rejected messages because attachments are too large to send thru email.
* You can track and audit bidder responses, therefore you don’t have to call the suppliers to ensure they have received your bid package.
* It is a fast and easy way to send messages to all bidders at once therefore you can stop wasting time finding email addresses, suffering from address misspellings, etc. just send a quick message thru Bid Manager’s Message Center.
* It is easy to share supplier responses with your own clients, therefore you don’t have to make copies, send interoffice communications, scan documents, or spend time sending the supplier responses to your engineers, users, and clients of your purchasing unit.
* Collaborate online to build the RFP. For Example, perhaps you have a consultant sending you drawings, or you are working for several weeks before the bid on the drawings, or perhaps you are exchanging files with your users to create the scope of work and RFP; all of these tasks can be accomplished online with Bid Manager.
* The eRA (electronic Reverse Auction) Tool is easy to use, and is specifically geared towards Business-to-Business transactions. The hosted tool does not require any software and is not dependent upon the user’s browser or operating system.
How can I get started with Bid Manager eRFx?

How long is the information stored on the website?
Enporion (a GEP Company) will never delete your bid package and the supplier responses.
Can my supervisor or my clerk help me administrate the bid?
Yes, you can invite others in your company to help you administrate the bid, you can even ask Enporion (a GEP Company) to help you administrate the bid.
Do users have to be registered or can I send potential users a request to register?
Yes, users must be registered in order to have access to your bid package. If your potential supplier is not a registered user, you can send a request to register in a simple two-step process.
Do users have to register each time there is a new bid?
No, a user registers only once. After their application is approved, they will have access to Bid Manager for your current and all subsequent bids that they are added to.
