Content Management

In supporting our Catalog Manager®, Enporion (a GEP Company) personnel perform all the work of obtaining content from suppliers, preparing data for storing in the marketplace catalog, receiving updates from suppliers, as well as implementing any appropriate electronic connections with the suppliers.

An e-procurement system is only as good as the data it contains. Inaccurate information compromises your ability to make informed decisions and tells buyers to steer clear of the system. A thorough cleansing process identifies and eliminates discrepancies, while allowing better exception management.

Enporion (a GEP Company) performs the following data refinement services for both new and existing content:

• Validate information, including UNSPSC codes, blank fields, and required fields
• Categorize data
• Normalize data to eliminate duplicates
• Aggregate content
