Supplier Network, e-Marketplace
Enporion (a GEP Company)'s Supplier Network, an e-marketplace, provides suppliers full support for both hosted solutions and more advanced integration for suppliers. Each customer's supplier has a choice of connection options from hosted order management to a fully integrated solution. A summary of both supplier interface methodologies follows:
Order Manager for Supplier Network
Enporion (a GEP Company)'s hosted order management system offers suppliers a quick solution for participating in electronic commerce and becoming an integral part of the supplier network. Order Manager is a secure web-based order management tool. A personal ID and password grant a secure web browser connection. Order Manager enables suppliers to access and update information electronically and then transmits that information back to the customer's ERP system through the supplier network. Suppliers have the ability to view and print purchase orders, generate purchase order acknowledgements, change purchase order status, create invoices and advance ship notices, upload catalog content and pricing files. The only supplier requirements are an Internet connection and a web browser.
Supplier Network Integration
Enporion (a GEP Company) will work with suppliers wishing to integrate to our supplier network implement an optimal interface for their company. These integrations include but are not limited to the following: CSV download, simple http post, EDI and various flavors of XML Integration. Transactions flow directly to and from customer's ERP System via the Enporion (a GEP Company) Marketplace to suppliers' back office systems. Regardless of the suppliers' native document format, Enporion (a GEP Company) facilitates translation of those documents to match the customers internal document requirements. Conversely, inbound documents from suppliers originate in many different formats but are always normalized to a single document standard to meet the business requirements.
